The establishment of an Organized Industrial Zone in Malkara was initiated in 1992 with the aim of transforming the town into an industrial district alongside its agricultural sector, thereby enabling it to catch up with modern civilization and achieve dynamism.
The infrastructure tender for the Malkara Organized Industrial Zone was held in 2002, and its completion was projected for 2005. The total project cost was 7,500,000 YTL ($5,555,000).
The project was completed at the end of June 2006.
The Organized Industrial Zone is established on 1056 decares of land. 630 decares are allocated for industrial facilities, and 426 decares for green areas and roads.
Parcel arrangements;- 30 parcels of 5-9 decares,
- 30 parcels of 8-11 decares,
- 3 parcels of 11-15 decares,
- 6 parcels of 15-20 decares, totaling 69 parcels. Parcels can be combined according to need.
