It was established in 1926 under the name *Emlak ve Eytam Bankasi* (Real Estate and Orphans' Bank)—bearing the signature of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk—with the mission of undertaking the reconstruction of the young Republic of Turkey, supporting construction initiatives, and safeguarding the rights of orphans following the years of the National Struggle. Having changed its name several times over the years to adapt to the country's evolving needs, the Bank continued the journey it began as *Emlak ve Eytam Bankasi* under the names *Turkiye Emlak Kredi Bankasi* and *Turkiye Emlak Bankasi*, respectively. In 2018, a decision was made for it to resume operations as a participation bank; subsequently, *Turkiye Emlak Katilim Bankasi* obtained its operating license in 2019. Today, it continues to serve with a deep-rooted 99-year history and a team of expert bankers.
