It is a museum that displays educational materials such as documents, publications, books, magazines, guides, brochures, photographs, catalogs, videos, films, and slides that have archival value related to education at the provincial level, used or published from the Ottoman period to the present day.
Thousands of items from the province's historical schools (diploma samples, diploma registers, student files, vaccination records, yearbooks, old clothes, educational tools and equipment, typewriters, radios, sewing machines, telephones, compasses, calendars, scales, report cards, school uniforms, petition samples, etc.) are on display. The Tekirdag Provincial Education History Museum, prepared with a contemporary museology approach in a large hall on the ground floor of Namik Kemal High School, was opened on November 24, 2017, on Teachers' Day.
