Located on the Black Sea coast, it is notable for its rich flora and fauna. The Nature Park covers an area of 17.75 hectares and has a fine sandy beach 80 meters wide. This area, through which the Cilingoz Stream flows, offers a combination of sea, forest, lake, and reed bed views. It was declared a wildlife protection area in 2005, and therefore hunting is prohibited.

In addition to bird species such as quail, cormorant, woodcock, hawk, woodpecker, stork, and magpie, species such as deer, roe deer, fox, marten, wolf, jackal, and squirrel are also among the protected animals in the area.
The region is generally among the preferred areas for swimming in Istanbul during the summer months. Fishing is possible in the lake located in the north of the region. Amateur anglers catch fish such as trout, carp, freshwater mullet, and eel here.
There are hiking trails for trekking in the forest located in Cilingoz. A country restaurant and buffet service are available to meet the needs of the area.
