Located in Begendik Village, this is a remarkably pristine beach situated on the banks of the Rezve River, which forms the Turkey-Bulgaria border. Due to its location on the border, there are no settlements or facilities. While small businesses may be established during the summer season, you should bring all necessary supplies with you when visiting the beach.
The beach stands out with its fine pebble sand and turquoise waters. The water gets extremely deep almost a few meters from the shore. Because it faces the open sea, strong waves have eroded the beach. Therefore, even if you are a good swimmer, you should be very careful when entering the sea. There is no lifeguard service on the beach.
The Bulgarian village of Rezovo is clearly visible opposite the beach. Although it is possible to go all the way to the zero point of the border from the Bulgarian side, it is forbidden to go this far to the Turkish side. The area beyond the barriers on the beach is a military zone, and we advise you not to approach it.
